I started playing when I was 9 and never looked back. I have been on several teams throughout my club career however, this team is the most talented team I have been on. We beat so many good teams. I believe we can be one of the best in the country. That is one thing I love about California softball; The competition is insane!

The love that I have for softball is indescribable. It is truly one of the biggest blessings in my life. Softball has taught me how to respect myself and others, how to be a leader, and how to never give up on anything. I love being able to create bonds with my teammates, and along the way, I met my best friend, Jordyn! I love being able to walk onto the field and put all of my worries behind me for seven innings. I love the feeling I get when we win. But, when we lose, I feel all the more motivated to improve and win the next time we face off.

My greatest moment in softball was throwing my first ever (but not my last), PERFECT GAME. The feeling was incredible and on top of that, I shared it with the people I love most. My worst moment in softball was when I had a really horrible game. I wasn’t able to throw a strike and I didn’t get a single hit. But a good thing came out of it: It humbled me and showed me that I need to work that much harder.

The feelings I have when I step onto the field are a little bit of anxiety along with a ton of energy and emotion that pumps me up. I think about how I am going to throw the best game I’ve ever thrown and no matter the outcome I always tell myself to never give up or show emotion. My strengths are that I am competitive, I push myself to the limits, and I never give up. My weaknesses are that I can be very hypercritical and get on myself very hard and sometimes too much at times.

What makes me a good teammate is that I have a very big heart and care a great amount about all of my teammates. I want to see all of them succeed and be the best player and person that they can be. I believe that I am very coachable because I am very open-minded and listen to every little thing. I also am very good at following instructions and try to do exactly what is told. I respect the game in many different ways. One way is that I am never disrespectful to my teammates, my opponents, coaches, or umpires. Another way is that I always leave everything out on the field and never do anything at half.

After softball, I am going to be a police officer and work my way up to the FBI. I will also want to own my own house or apartment and look to start a family. Some things that I do outside of softball are hang out with my friends and go on bike rides and runs with my sister and her boyfriend. I also like to play with my dogs and watch movies with my family. The most influential people in my life are my sister Shelbie, my mom and dad, my brother Alex, my teammates, my coaches, and my pitching instructor, Lori Harrigan.

I know one thing for sure, whatever college I go to, I will give everything I have to be the best student-athlete I can be. I want to be a part of a sisterhood. Where we have each other's backs, and no one is above the tribe, and everyone is accountable. I want to experience everything college has to offer and come out looking back and thinking "these were the best times of my life, my softball sisters and coaches". No regrets.
